It was fun considering it was my first time selling my art at all lol XD I mean I didnt get to enjoy the con' like usual but it was still fun! we got to meet some really great people! like the people next to us(me and gaby...aka mayel) were just really reallllllllllllllllly sweet! the people next to me on the right side of our table gave us donuts and like they were nice enough to give me a Mickey Mouse Mint and some of their Sailor Moon bookmarks! the people to the left of us(next to gaby's side) were great too! the lady made cute little figurines of animals and they were sooooo adorable! she remembered that I liked pandas and had made one just for me =3 i feel special 555...oh and gaby and cathy met their heroes...they were Egoraptor and Swain(?) from New Grounds...uh I honestly never knew or heard about them but those two were realllllllly cool and fun to hang out with! we played a fun game(i;ll scan the pics of those later) and had dinner together(me and gaby and our friends+ Egoraptor, Swain and their group) so like 16 people at a Japanese restaurant which was really nice!
Anyways yea I got a lot of commissions and actually didn't sell any of the bookmark prints I made except for 1 and I gave a couple out to some nice customers(or to people I felt I might've disappointed with the commissions they hired me to do...) and the artists next to us~ Gaby made like $300+ and I made $76~ $1 profit lol XD (we had bought one table and each paid $75 lol) but yea...on teh first day I had like 3-4 commissions? day 2 I had 4 but only 2 paying commissions(the other 2 were close friends and I'm not charging my good friends>_<!!!) and today I had like 6-7 commissions and sold a bookmark~ so it was like $20+$15(it was actual $10 plus a $5 tip my second customer gave me)+$41~ so it was cool...it was definitely challenging for me...cuz I had 3 options: a bookmark for $2(last day I made it $1 and buy 2 get one free); quick sketch for about $2-5 or a clean sketch for $5-10...I'll be honest I freaked out during quick sketches...cuz I can't draw fast and it's awkward having people hover and stare at me as I draw lol...so yea..(i do think I improved by my last one) and yesterday my first customer wanted me to draw her dog for her mother...I was like >_> cuz I've never drawn dogs or animals at all before so I gave my best shot and the lady and her husband liked it lol...then I had a bunch of requests of guy drawings >_> btw that's my biggest weak point: guys...I just can't? i freaked out when on Friday a girl came up and wanted me to draw a human version of her guy sonic-type character...he ended up a bit girly lol...and then a girl wanted to me draw a guy and girl together >_> not so sure how it turned out? i guess she liked it cuz she gave me a drawing and today was the craziest...you see my style is cutesy and I specialize in cute girls lol well I had a bunch of commissions but only 1 girl! the others were of guys(1 of them had 4 comic book type guys!!!dude wanted me to draw an anime version of his characters) the 2nd to last dude did come out looking bad ass though LOL...but yea I had to draw sooooooo many guys today! and so in the end only I had 3 girl commissions...my last 2 customers wanted me to draw anything in their book and I did what I was good at...anyway time to bed...night~
